The Home Trust is planning a three-story mixed-use building at 660 Sherman Street in the in the historic business district of Ridgway that includes a purpose built space for a licensed childcare operation, 14 income-qualified rental apartments, and commercial space.

The first floor will include a licensed childcare operation with adjoining playground, one or two ADA accessible apartment(s), and multiple commercial spaces. The second floor is planned for five two-bedroom apartments, and two one-bedroom units. The third floor is planned for six two-bedroom apartments.

In April 2022, the Home Trust was awarded a $360k low-interest loan from the Department of Local Affairs to acquire the land, and is seeking multiple other funding sources to install infrastructure, perform site preparation, and ultimately for construction.
